Introduction

Precast M Corporation was founded in 1997 by Principal, Benjamin C. Mortel. You probably know Ben from previous projects or know of him by reputation. Having over 30 years of continuous precast experience, Ben was Buehner Corporation's General Manager for 2½ years in their Salt Lake City facilities. Prior to which, he was with Tecon Pacific (now Clark Pacific) for 12 years, where he held various responsible positions from 1983 to 1995, ending at the top of the heap as Senior Project Manager/Estimator. Providing a foundation for a steadfast precast career, Ben worked at Basalt Rock Company's Precast Division in 1981, as well as, 6 other large engineering and contracting companies.

Ben is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in California, holds State of California Contractor's Licenses in 3 classifications - A, B and C-8 and is familiar with California DSA and OSHPD projects, LA and SF, CBC and other Codes.

Precast M Corporation has been in existence for more than 11 years, applying innovative technology with classic techniques. We are very fortunate to have participated in all types of prestigious precast engineering projects including: parking structures, institutional and medical facilities, commercial high rise, sport stadium, highway and subdivision soundwalls, barriers and retaining walls and design build 70'-0"+ long BART station stairs.
